Calligraphy equipment - what do you need to have to start calligraphy? Pt.1

Hi. Today I'm gonna tell you what kind of equipment you have to buy to start calligraphy - trust me,it doesn't have to be as proffesional as it sometimes seems like. For basic stuff I needed to start I spent something around $15 (around because I live in Poland, so we have different currency here).  1. Pen  Pen is the most important thing of the whole equipment and also it's the most expensive one. Actually you can get two types of them : 1. Traditional dip pen: I've been using this one since three months (that's when I started calligraphy). It looks like that:  Dip pen doesn't have any type of ink converters or place for cartriges. You just have to dip it in the bottle with ink as its name says. For me it is kinda annoying because you have to do that every 15 seconds so i prefer the second type of pen, about which I will tell you somethimg in a moment. But actually its annoying and comfortable in the same time, because this pen doesn't have any me

Hello!

Hey guys!     On this page I'm gonna show you how to start with calligraphy and lettering. It's gonna be kind of lessons, so basically starting from next Friday (probably 30.06.17 ) I will be giving to you some 'quests' to do and you will have 1 or maybe 2 weeks to do that. Those 'quests' will be part of an alphabet you have to practice this week and  some quotes or words you will have to write. Also I have to tell you that I'm a beginner in calligraphy and I'm not a professional teacher, so don't expect that I'll teach you as much as a calligraphy teacher with some licences would do. First calligraphy post will rather be about equipment you have to have and some basic stuff like that- then practicing. I would love to put some historical facts about calligraphy too, but I swear- only interesting ones. Hope you will join me in my calligraphy journey and you will enjoy this blog!
